The goal

Create concept and design for transit takeover (King Station) with more than 40 elements.

The CHALLENGE

Expand the client’s existing product creative (one visual and tagline) into a cohesive multi-image campaign for a large-format environment. Create a compelling narrative and call-to-action.

The strategy

Approach overall display, spanning various surfaces and transit ad elements, as pieces of a puzzle. Expand core assets into a variety of companion pieces, and develop new copy to enhance client’s tagline.

The implementation

  • Developed a new set of catchy taglines and travel-themed visuals, ensuring continuity with product branding

  • Took stock of specs required by media vendor

  • Created mock-ups of display spaces using floor plans and location photos

  • Laid out concept across a range of ad vehicles: poster series, wall murals, collector booths and columns

  • Secured approval with Ad Standards Canada

  • Provided final art to production services for installation

THE OUTCOME

A high-impact campaign that provided great exposure for the client’s brand in a high-traffic space, while also bringing greater awareness to travel health, safety and vaccinations.
